About Miles

Helping people create healthy boundaries between work and life

I'm a Certified GTD Coach with extensive experience introducing the Getting Things Done® methodology to senior leaders and their teams. Over the years I've delivered GTD training and coaching for executives and professionals across a wide range of organisations, including KPMG, Lufthansa, Scania, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, Monzo, Screwfix, the Ministry of Justice, The Open University, and Co-op.

Working with leaders operating in demanding, high-pressure environments has taught me that the biggest challenge is rarely time management. More often, it's learning how to make confident choices, establish healthy boundaries, and create systems that reduce unnecessary stress.

Those lessons - combined with my training in professional coaching - shape every conversation I have today, whether the focus is systems, boundaries, or both.

What it's like to work with me

People often describe my coaching as calm, thoughtful, and grounded. I won't encourage you to optimise every minute of your day or pursue productivity for its own sake. Instead, we'll work together to understand what's really important, simplify where possible, and build practical ways of working that you can sustain over the long term.

Success isn't measured by how much you get done. It's measured by whether your work supports the life you want to live.

A little more about me

I've always been fascinated by how people think, learn, organise complexity, and make decisions. That curiosity continues to shape my coaching and keeps me learning.

Outside coaching, I’m a working parent of 3 kids and 3 step-kids of different ages (i.e. taxi driver, cook, entertainment manager, financier…). My hobbies include flying, travelling and managing an allotment - a broad range of activities that remind me why building healthy boundaries matters in the first place.

Let's build your boundaries

If you're looking for a calmer, more intentional way of working, I'd be glad to meet you for a free introductory conversation. There's no obligation - just an opportunity to explore your situation, discuss what you'd like to change, and decide whether coaching is the right fit for you.
